More floods for 10 Kelantan districts from Monday

KOTA BHARU: 

Ten riverine districts in Kelantan are expected to suffer flooding next week, following a meteorological forecast of continuous rainfall from Dec 16-19.

The irrigation and drainage department named the affected districts as Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Kota Bharu, Tanah Merah, Bachok, Machang, Pasir Puteh, Kuala Krai, Jeli, and Gua Musang.

The river basins include the Golok river basin, Kelantan river basin, Pengkalan Nangka river basin, Gali river basin, Kemasin river basin, Semerak river basin, and Pergau river basin. - FMT
