KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan has assumed the role of acting Kuala Lumpur police chief with immediate effect.

He takes over from Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa, who was recently promoted to Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director.

The handing-over ceremony was witnessed by Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department director Datuk Hamzah Ahmad, at the Kuala Lumpur police headquarters earlier today. - NST
