A 19-year-old believed to be the baby’s mother and her boyfriend are among those further remanded.

ALOR GAJAH: The remand of five suspects linked to the discovery of a baby’s skeletal remains in front of a house in Kelemak on Wednesday has been extended by three days from yesterday.
Alor Gajah police chief Ahmad Abu Bakar said the case is being investigated under Section 318 of the Penal Code for the concealment of birth.
On Thursday, a 19-year-old woman, believed to be the baby’s mother, and her boyfriend were remanded in connection with the discovery of skeletal remains believed to have been buried about four months ago.
Police also remanded three members of the woman’s family, namely her mother, elder sister and younger brother, all aged between 16 and 40. - FMT
