The driver of a Hino lorry was confirmed dead at the scene by health ministry personnel.

Kulai fire and rescue station chief Fauzi Awang said the driver of a Hino lorry was confirmed dead at the scene by health ministry personnel.
He said the department received an emergency call at 12.14pm and deployed three vehicles and 16 personnel from the Kulai fire and rescue station.
Upon arrival, the team found an empty tanker lorry about 80% burned which had collided with a Hino lorry carrying flour.
“The team extricated the victim’s body, which was trapped in the driver’s seat, before handing it over to the police,” he said in a statement, adding that the other driver had been rescued by members of the public.
PLUS said the incident caused severe traffic congestion stretching up to eight kilometres.
It also said all northbound lanes were closed to facilitate rescue operations, firefighting efforts, and the removal of the vehicles involved.
