Masjid Tanah MP says Dr Aleef Yusof’s actions do not reflect the decorum expected of an elected representative.

Mas Ermieyati said the Bersatu assemblyman’s actions did not reflect the proper conduct of a Muslim and a Malay, especially given his position as an elected representative.
“Out of all the stickers available, why choose that one? This is behaviour that does not reflect our values as Muslims and Malays.
“More so, it fails to reflect the decorum expected of a representative of the people,” she said in a Facebook post.

Aleef had uploaded on Facebook an image of Melaka tourism, heritage, arts and culture exco Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman with a dog sticker over his face, following a commotion during yesterday’s state assembly sitting.
Aleef claimed that Razak, the Telok Mas assemblyman, failed to answer a supplementary question on the reopening of a floating market project which was reportedly shut down for a year.
According to Aleef, the question was straightforward – when the project would resume operations – but Razak’s response did not address the issue raised.
He also took a swipe at Razak for recording and uploading a video of the commotion during the sitting on social media.
In a TikTok post, however, Razak maintained that he had answered the question posed by Aleef. - FMT
