PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man says the Islamic party is currently focused on strengthening PN ahead of the Melaka election.

Tuan Ibrahim said the Islamic party was currently focused on strengthening Perikatan Nasional (PN) ahead of the Melaka state election.
“Any political cooperation must be brought before the ulama council. Within PN, such matters must be decided at PN meetings,” he told FMT.
As for Bersatu, Tuan Ibrahim said it was up to the party if it wanted to work with PH or not.
Yesterday, PH presidential council member Amirudin Shari said the coalition had not closed the door to cooperating with PN or Bersatu.
However, he said any decision would take into account “political stability and the people’s interests” – principles which prospective partners must uphold.
Amirudin also denied that Selangor PH, which he chairs, had agreed to cooperate with Bersatu, stressing that no discussions or decisions had taken place. - FMT
