Rafizi Ramli says preparations for the state election, which hasn't been called yet, have entered the final stage.

The former minister said Bersama’s preparations for the state polls have entered the final stage, with the party’s candidates already finalised.
“We have decided and finalised the candidates. We will announce them at an event on Aug 15,” he said in the latest episode of his Yang Berhenti Menteri podcast.
Rafizi also said he and other Bersama leaders will soon begin visiting parliamentary constituencies nationwide to brief new members on the party’s constitution, the upcoming general election, and planned activities.
The next Melaka state election is due by late February 2027 at the latest but chief minister Ab Rauf Yusoh was reported to have said it could be held in September.
Bersama’s first electoral outing was in the July 11 Johor polls, where all 15 of its candidates were defeated and lost their deposits. - FMT
