The Kuala Lumpur High Court today rejected a gag order bid by three former Negeri Sembilan undang and the incumbent Johol undang in their judicial review application against the Negeri Sembilan menteri besar and the state government.
Quoting sources, The Edge reported that judge Norliza Othman did not grant the oral application by the quartet’s lawyer, Khairul Azam Aziz, following opposition from the Council of the Yang di-Pertuan Besar and the Ruling Chiefs (Dewan Keadilan dan Undang) and the state government.
The respondents are said to have cited how the case, which centres on seeking the state government’s acknowledgement of the quartet’s removal of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir as the state ruler, involves matters of public interest.

He was commenting on Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin’s assertion that PAS had damaged the opposition coalition.
PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man Tuan Ibrahim also told Sinar Harian that PN has sent letters to the Registrar of Societies and Bersatu regarding reports that the party lacked the necessary quorum for its supreme council meetings, but has yet to receive any response.
“Bersatu’s position in PN may be discussed by the (coalition) supreme council. After all, we need an explanation from the PN secretary-general whether Bersatu has responded to the letter or not,” he added.

The Selangor government plans to develop an integrated application or “super app” that will include all the services and complaint channels of the state’s 12 local authorities.
State Local Government and Tourism exco Ng Suee Lim said the initiative aims to expedite and simplify matters for the public by providing access to various local council services via a single platform.

He added that data security and confidentiality would also be prioritised to prevent leaks and abuses.
“Every place (local council) has one app, two apps… three apps. This causes confusion among the public because there are too many applications… this is one of the problems,” Ng reportedly said.
The Malaysian Islamic Da’wah Foundation (Yadim) refuted claims that Islam is being sidelined in Malaysia, with the agency under the Prime Minister’s Department insisting that Islam continues to be empowered through various government-linked means.
Yadim president Hasan Bahrom said that under the Madani government, allocations for Islamic affairs increased from RM1.9 billion in 2024 to RM2 billion in 2025 and RM2.6 billion for 2026.
