The minister’s office says he has been advised to take complete rest and is discouraged from receiving visitors to ensure smooth treatment and recovery.

PETALING JAYA: Deputy prime minister Fadillah Yusof is expected to undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute soon following advice from his team of medical specialists.
His office said in a statement that Fadillah, who is also the energy transition and water transformation minister, was in stable condition.
“However, he has been advised to take complete rest and is discouraged from receiving visitors to ensure that his treatment and recovery proceed smoothly,” his press secretary Misiah Taib said.
She also said his family was asking the public to pray for the surgery and treatment to go well, for him to make a full recovery, and for him to resume his official duties as usual. - FMT
