Khoo Poay Tiong rules out electoral pact with Bersatu or other coalitions.

Khoo, who is also the Melaka PH deputy chairman, said DAP, PKR and Amanah had agreed at the state level to go solo, Berita Harian reported.
He said any objections from leaders of the component parties were their personal views.
“We will explain Melaka PH’s stand to the central leadership to get feedback,” he was quoted as saying.
Khoo’s remarks come amid differing views among PH leaders over possible cooperation with other parties.
Amanah communications director Khalid Samad had said PH was open to working with any party except Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional.
However, Melaka Amanah chief Ashraf Mukhlis Minghat and PH election director Amirudin Shari have since dismissed Khalid’s statement.
There has also been speculation that PH could work with Bersatu in the Melaka polls, particularly after leaders from their state chapters held a dinner last month.
Melaka will go to the polls on Nov 14, with nominations on Oct 31 and early voting set for Nov 10. There are 28 seats up for grabs.
BN formed the previous state government after winning 21 of the 28 seats in the 2021 state election. PH won five seats, and PN two. - FMT
