RON97, unsubsidised RON95 up 15 sen, diesel unchanged

 These prices are effective until Oct 14.

PETALING JAYA:

The prices of RON97 and unsubsidised RON95 petrol will increase by 15 sen starting tomorrow.

RON97 and unsubsidised RON95 will retail at RM5.15 and RM4.67 per litre, respectively.

The price of unsubsidised diesel will remain unchanged at RM5.27 per litre.

RON95 under the BUDI95 scheme will continue to be sold at RM1.99 per litre, while diesel will remain at RM2.10 per litre under the BUDI Diesel initiative.

Subsidised petrol under the subsidised petrol control system (SKPS) will remain at RM2.05 per litre, while subsidised diesel under the subsidised diesel control system (SKDS) will retail at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices are effective until Oct 14.

In a statement, the finance ministry said Putrajaya would continue to shield the public and businesses from the impact of global uncertainty, including by maintaining targeted BUDI Madani subsidies for eligible consumers. - FMT
