Najib Fear of Other UMNO Leaders Scandal Revealed If Action Taken Against Shahrizat?

SHAH ALAM, Dec 27: The refusal of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak to take any action to the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Jalil can cause a variety of perceptions on NFC irregularities involving public funds entrusted to the federal government.

Taman Medan assemblyman, Haniza Mohamed Talha said there was no reason to delay Najib's actions when various parties including Umno leaders Shahrizat urged to do so.

PKR previously claimed a total of RM250 million in public funds given to the company associated with the husband of the Minister of Development, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.

PKR was later revealed that the money used by the NFC for the purchase of two luxury condominium units in Bangsar worth RM13.8 million.

In addition, PKR has also claimed a total of RM5 million is spent on buying the Mercedes Benz cars and land in Putrajaya and RM588, 585 extended to the family-owned companies minister.

In addition to PKR, the Committee of Public Accounts (PAC) also felt that initial investigations revealed that a number of weaknesses in the early planning and implementation.
