Graft busters detain Sabah Umno man for fraud

A Sabah Umno leader has been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over a criminal breach of trust (CBT) amounting to RM300 million last Thursday, a Sabah newspaper reported today.
According to new portal the Daily Express, the suspect, a former state agency chairman and head of one of the 25 Umno divisions in Sabah, was picked up by the anti-graft personnel at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
MACC has yet to confirm or issue any statement on the matter.
It was reported that since 2010, MACC has arrested nine politicians and charged five of them in court.
