According to new portal the Daily Express, the suspect, a former state agency chairman and head of one of the 25 Umno divisions in Sabah, was picked up by the anti-graft personnel at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
MACC has yet to confirm or issue any statement on the matter.
Sepanggar MP Datuk Jumat Idris, in his Facebook post today said that he was informed of the matter.
It was reported that since 2010, MACC has arrested nine politicians and charged five of them in court.
