Two PKR top leaders have been summoned by the Registrar of Societies (RoS) to give their statements tomorrow regarding the sacking of former Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim from the party.
PKR secretary-general Datuk Saifuddin Nasution is scheduled to meet the RoS at its office in Putrajaya at 2pm tomorrow, while PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail is to follow half hour later.
"RoS has the power to summon any individual for their investigation," said their lawyer, Ragunath Kesavan, when contacted.
On August 28, PKR Disciplinary Committee Chairman Dr Tan Kee Kwong was summoned by the RoS over Khalid's complaint against the committee and the PKR central leadership council.
The party had sacked Khalid on August 9 after he had disobeyed party orders to step down as menteri besar and give way to Dr Wan Azizah to replace him.
