TUNKU IDRIS: The 'badass' Johor Prince who JOLTED Najib-weakened Umno

TUNKU IDRIS: The 'badass' Johor Prince who JOLTED Najib-weakened Umno
Badasses don’t come easy. You cannot throw a stone out of a window at just any other man and call him a badass.
A badass is one of strong personality, selflessness and also great integrity.
That’s also why we took so long to come up with another one these badass recognitions, because the process of validating one person as a badass is tedious and meticulous.
For this week, we would like to present to you a new royal challenger, a prince of sorts.
You may have heard of the Johor royal family, especially since the recent coronation of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ismail. The family is one that does not just stop at being aristocrats, but they boast a collection of wealth through business investments in land reclamation and also high profile acquisitions.
In fact during the coronation of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, the royal family arranged for a music festival to occur alongside the event and that saw the arrival of big names like Havana Brown, Jacklyn Victor, and even the korean pop group—T-Ara.
Because only badasses can mix royalty and pop culture.
Sounds badass already? Wait till you check out the prince himself: Tunku Idris.

Legit. Even the the poster looks freaking awesome. | Source: Hype.my

8 reasons why Tunku Idris Iskandar is a badass

1. He’s got twice as much royalty blood in him than a conventional prince.

As the second son of the Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, and his consort, Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah, Tunku Idris is the grandson of both the previous Johor Sultans, Sultan Iskandar, and the former sultan of Perak, Sultan Idris Shah II.
This is due to the fact that while his father is of a direct lineage of the Johorean royalty, his mother is actually a princess from Perak. Hence the double royal blood status.
2. He serves with the Malaysian Army.
As part of a long-standing family tradition of serving with the military, Tunku Idris decided to give back to his own country and state by serving with the Malaysian Army.
During which, he was trained as a military helicopter pilot.
3. Yes, he can fly military helicopters and yes he has his own helicopters

He ain’t got time for pesky little road trips when he can fly.
4. His wealth includes an exquisite collection of cars, including a customised Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren can go from 0–100km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 337km/h; it is a beast built for badasses.
What better way to claim ownership of it than to make a super customised version of it based on your royal colours?

5. He’s an avid surfer, and his board looks awesome.
The picture is self explanatory:

6. He loves drawing, and is pretty darn good at it

Because who says you can’t drive beastly cars and still draw amazing sketches?
7. He also has that car from Mission Impossible 4.
You probably remember this car from Mission Impossible 4:
Take away the futuristic heads-up display and windscreen touch interface, you get the BMW i8—a super duper awesome-looking sports car that looks like it comes straight out of a science fiction movie.
It’s so awesome, it’s sold out already.
Guess who’s the proud owner of one of these babies in Malaysia?

8. When someone claimed that the i8 was a gift, he responded, with royal swag.
Of course when you have a car like that, people are going to start wondering how and where you got it from!
This guy might have pushed his conspiracy theories a little too far, and has gotten a royal response served up from the Tunku himself:

  1. What's the point of telling us the crown Prince's issues when the real topic is umno and najib? Why can't you tell us why the rakyat is wrong in critising najib and gang? You avoided the real issue, thinking you're smart by raising another issue to divert the rakyat's attention? BN has been using this tactic for the past 30 years, and you still think it'll work? If you really are concerned about the rakyat's well being, you should disclose all the bad things about all the royal families and BN reps and cronies. Why just the johor crown prince? Or you just "happen" to have his info and not others? What a coincidence. You're a spy and a traitor of Malaysia. The.moment the opposition wins the election, your type should be the first to be executed cos you're actually assisting in a crime against Malaysia, and also to your own relatives and friends. Everyone is today suffering from the BN policies, yet, you are trying to support this. Don't you pay for all the additional taxes imposed? How much are you paid for this article? How long can your reward last? Is the reward just for you or including all your friends and relatives? Wake up, bro.
