Pandikar to perform duties of Usbo president

Dewan Rakyat speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia will be assuming the role of United Sabah Bumis Organisation (Usbo) president, effective immediately.
Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak in a press statement posted on his blog post, sskeruak.blogspot.my, said he had taken leave as president of the non-governmental organisation, which is affiliated to the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition, to allow him to concentrate on his duties as a minister in the federal cabinet.
“During my leave, Pandikar Amin Mulia, who is Usbo’s deputy president 1, will carry out the duties of Usbo president.
“I have discussed with Pandikar over this matter and he has agreed to accept it,” he said.
The other two deputy presidents of Usbo are Salsidu Ibrahim and Amir Kahar Mustapha, while Member of Parliament for Silam Datu Nasrun Mansur is the secretary-general.
