KUALA LUMPUR: A Pakistan national working as a delivery man was found hacked to death at a road-shoulder in Kepong last night.
The victim, who delivered chicken eggs for a company, sustained stab and slash wounds on the body following an attack about 9pm in Taman Sri Bintang.
Sentul police chief R. Munusamy said the man and his employer had arrived in a lorry following what was believed to be a business transaction and left for home, the employer in his car while the Pakistani rode a motorcycle.
“However, the employer who had driven for some distance, was shocked to see the Pakistani on the road, in a pool of blood,” Mnusamy said.
The employer did not see the assailant. He said the victim was probably attacked while riding away on the motorcycle.
Munusamy said the police found a black machete sheath at the scene while the victim’s motorcycle had been left propped upright against a tree.
“The victim, who was married with a family in Pakistan, worked in Malaysia over the past two years,” he said.
