Do not go to illegal Dataran Merdeka rally, police warn public
7.50pm: Police have warned the public against attending tonight's 8.30pm rally at Dataran Merdeka.
"It's an illegal rally as it will be done all of sudden, there's no notice and it didn't follow procedures, I advise people not to attend this rally.
"The organisers will face legal charges if they proceed," Kuala Lumpur police chief Mazlan Lazim (photo) tells Astro Awani. - Mkini
