Traffic congestion hits roads leading to Kea Farm in Cameron Highlands [WATCH]

 

KUALA LUMPUR: Visitors heading to the popular Kea Farm market in Cameron Highlands were caught in bumper-to-bumper traffic, with a viral video showing long queues of vehicles crawling along the narrow hill roads.

The video, posted on Threads by user fxrish___, captured a seemingly endless line of vehicles moving at a snail's pace as tourists made their way to the market.

Kea Farm, about 3km north of Brinchang at an altitude of 1,610m, is one of Cameron Highlands' best-known attractions, drawing visitors to its market, fresh produce, strawberries and flowers.

The clip drew widespread reaction online, with users expressing frustration over the congestion.

User ridzzychanduri said: "Cameron Highlands has gone downhill."

Another user, fxrish___, wrote: "The traffic jam atmosphere heading to KEA Farm."

User iqxazmi said: "This Cameron Highlands is no longer beautiful. It's getting worse."

User anis.matjusoh said: "Last week was the same. And it is expected that the weekend will continue until next month's school holidays."
