The party says Izizam Ibrahim and Yusop Majid will inject 'fresh ideas and strategic plans' into the two chapters.

Bersatu secretary-general Azmin Ali said the appointments were approved by party president Muhyiddin Yassin and took effect on Sept 3.
Azmin said the two leaders have extensive experience in politics and public administration.
“Bersatu is confident that Izizam and Yusop will contribute fresh ideas and strategic plans to strengthen Bersatu’s inclusive, progressive and people-centric struggle,” he said in a statement.
Previously, Perlis Bersatu was headed by Abu Bakar Hamzah, who is also the menteri besar and Kuala Perlis assemblyman, while Kijal assemblyman Razali Idris led the Terengganu chapter.
On July 9, Abu Bakar resigned as a member of the party’s Supreme Council, and Razali announced his resignation as Terengganu Bersatu chief on Aug 7. - FMT
