KUALA LUMPUR — Bullet holes were discovered in 20 locations across Kota Kinabalu, Sabah this morning, putting residents there in fear of falling victim to the seemingly random shootings.
According to The Star on its website today, glass fixtures at 20 locations that included banks, hotels, shopping centres and eateries were found damaged by bullets this morning, with some destroyed by the shots.
Police investigating the incidents have yet to identify those suspected but have not ruled out possible gangland activity.
They believe the shootings took place between midnight yesterday and 1am today.
They also suspect that a gas-powered gun was used in the incidents. - Malay Mail
