A camping trip involving 24 campers turned into a tragedy when several of them were swept into the sea by strong currents.
TELUK BAHANG: A camping trip turned awry for 24 campers when strong currents swept five of them into the sea at about 4.30pm today.
Police sources said that one of them, believed to be a local Indian female, was found dead.
They have also found two of the victims, who have been rushed to Penang Hospital for treatment.
A team of rescue workers, which includes maritime enforcement officers and local fishermen, are still looking for the two other missing individuals, feared to be drowned.
