PETALING JAYA: P Ramasamy of DAP has questioned whether Zuraida Kamaruddin of PKR was only interested in seeing sycophants among Pakatan Harapan leaders.
His question came in a riposte to Zuraida’s comments in a news report today saying that he and his DAP colleague, Charles Santiago, should drop their “opposition mentality” towards the leadership of Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Ramasamy had urged the Pakatan Harapan leadership to respect the succession agreement for Mahathir to make way for PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, while Santiago had said that Anwar should be given a chance.
Mahathir had said there was “no room” in the Cabinet for Anwar as none of the ministers had indicated they wanted to resign.
Zuraida’s reprimand of the two men was reported by Malaysiakini. She was quoted as saying: “I suggest that all Harapan leaders rid themselves of the ‘opposition mentality’ that has been adopted for so long.”
But Ramasamy denied questioning Mahathir’s leadership. He said he had also credited Mahathir for leading PH’s historic election victory over the Barisan Nasional last year.
“Either Zuraida was engaged in speed reading of our articles or misunderstood the contents or both,” he said. “I don’t think I questioned Mahathir and neither did Santiago.”
Therefore, there was no need for Zuraida to come to Mahathir’s defence. “However, if Zuraida expects PH leaders to be sycophants, then she should say so. She should not beat about the bush,” said Ramasamy. -FMT
Takkan Zuraida nak lawan Tauke. Either Semburit or Zuraida can resign to give room for Anwar to get on the Cabinet replacing either one. We are very sure he can perform so much better compared to these 2 idiots having been a finance Minister and DPM during his time in Govt.

Zurida tak kan you are so greedy for Power that a Sycophant like you and Mr. Semburit-back-door-AA can still have the audacity to open mouth and show their faces in Public.
