Jamal back in hospital after recurrence of lung cancer

 

Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos has been admitted to the Prince Court Medical Center to receive treatment for stage four lung cancer which has recurred.

His son, Amin Daniel Jamal, told the Malaysian Gazette that the cancer that his father had for the past two years has now returned and attacked his respiratory organs.

"Previously, my father was treated at a private medical centre after complaining of chest pain and breathing difficulties.

"In addition, my father also received treatment by taking medicines from abroad, but the cancer returned," he said.

It is understood that Jamal's physical condition has weakened and his weight has also decreased.

Last September, Jamal was admitted to hospital after collapsing, which he attributed to food poisoning.

Amin Daniel also said that his father was resting at the private hospital and did not want to be disturbed until his condition became stable.

"For now, give my father space and privacy to receive treatment as his mind is a bit disturbed due to cancer.

"I hope the public and my father's acquaintances can pray for his health so that he recovers as before," he said. - Mkini
