GASP! CAN IT BE TRUE? NAJIB’S TOP BLOGGER RPK INSTIGATING VIOLENCE & HATRED, CLAIMS PATRIOTS’ ASSOCIATION

PETALING JAYA – The National Association of Patriots (PPK) has taken blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin to task for instigating violence, hatred and fear among Malaysians.
Referring to a blog post written by Raja Petra on Oct 17, the NGO of retired military and police officers said such conduct was “totally irresponsible”.
“We normally take no heed of the writings of any blogger, especially if one is a mouthpiece of a political party. But when one becomes an instigator of violence, we cannot remain silent.”
In his blog post, Raja Petra had claimed that DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang and his party were “pushing Malaysia to the brink of a civil war”.
“If you think the many racial and religious conflicts that occurred since Sept 2, 1945 till May 13, 1969 are tragedies, wait till you see this next one.
“This next one, which is going to be more like a civil war, is going to be about a multitude of issues, race and religion being only two of the many reasons.
“And this time it is not going to just be in Johor, Selangor, Penang, Bukit Mertajam, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, and so on. It is going to be nationwide and the toll is going to be very high indeed,” he said.
Raja Petra also said Lim and DAP had been “testing the patience of the Malays and Muslims”.
“It is almost like Kit Siang and DAP are openly declaring war on the Malays, Islam and the Raja-Raja Melayu,” he added.
However, PPK president Brig Gen (Rtd) Mohamed Arshad Raji slammed Raja Petra’s remarks, calling them irresponsible.
“We do not see anyone or politician ‘openly declaring war on the Malays, Islam and the Raja-Raja Melayu’, as what RPK suggested,” he said, referring to Raja Petra by his initials.
“One has to read the lines and between lines to see how cleverly RPK has used historical events out of context to make his disjointed arguments. It is clear that he has intent to instigate not only violence, but hatred and fear as well,” Mohamed Arshad said in a statement.
YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS, RPK!
Pointing out that many in PPK had served in the security forces for more than 30 years, he said they had experienced enough hardship and seen enough violence.
“We hate violence. We treasure peace and harmony. The peace we enjoy today is hard fought and hard earned. As such, no individual or organisation that instigates violence will escape a piece of our mind.”
Mohamed Arshad urged all Malaysians to “think as Malaysians” and to be united in facing the country’s many challenges.
He also called on Raja Petra to “stop making statements which even ordinary right-thinking persons do not take seriously”.
“We invite him to come home and join our quest to make Malaysia great again,” he said.
