WHEN people mention a party animal, they likely mean a human who parties hard at the club or bar, best under the influence of alcohol. But who said a real animal can’t party hard too.
This bizarre statement is best highlighted by a recent video surfacing on the X social media platform by local netizen @mynewshub.
In the video, a group of villagers could be seen escorting a frail looking leopard who moved about slowly. It is as though the creature is barely recovering from a terrible hangover.
Captions in the post suggested that the animal stole into an alcohol distilling factory and had too much to drink there.

According to the post, the poor creature was so inebriated that the villagers had to escort it back to the jungle. Believable? When was the last time anyone ever heard of a booze-stealing leopard? This is indeed a bizarre story.
“Luckily it wasn’t driving a car. Or else we won’t know how many people would be killed, being hit by this drunk driver,” said @Donmizul in the comment section.

“You wait till he gets sober. Later he will swallow them one by one,” added @r_yussairi. Also, @prettymomster_ jokingly pointed out that the leopard might have drunk Tiger beer.

But when we think about it, a comical story about a leopard stealing booze from a factory sounds too weird to be true. A quick check on the internet revealed that the scene of the video was in India, or more specifically Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas district.
According to India TV, the leopard is actually sick, not drunk. The leopard was found wandering around the village and could be seen surrounded by people in the video.
Some people were even riding on the leopard’s back. India TV Fact Check also found that the leopard was eventually rescued by forest officials and taken to a zoo in Bhopal for treatment.
So much for a party animal having such a great time in an alcohol distilling factory that it had to be escorted back to the jungle. —Focus Malaysia
