2 suspected robbers killed in Bangi shootout

 Bukit Aman CID director M Kumar says the duo are believed to have been involved in several robberies around the Klang Valley.

Bukit Aman CID director M Kumar said police recovered a revolver, several rounds of ammunition, bullet casings, four parangs, housebreaking equipment, and masks and gloves from the scene.

Two suspected robbers were killed in a shootout with officers from Bukit Aman’s criminal investigation department (CID) in Bangi tonight.

Bukit Aman CID director M Kumar said the shootout occurred at about 8.10pm on Jalan Persiaran Seri Putra 2 in Bandar Seri Putera.

“The suspects are believed to have been involved in several robberies around the Klang Valley.

“Police recovered a revolver, several rounds of ammunition, bullet casings, four parangs, housebreaking equipment, masks and gloves from the scene,” he said in a statement.

Kumar said police will provide more information at a press conference tomorrow. - FMT
