Lawyer Siti Kasim claimed that a bomb placed under her car was planted while she was at the Kajang court complex last month.
She revealed this in a lengthy video last night while venting her frustrations on the police who said they had hit a dead end on her case.
On July 21, Siti sent her car to a service centre in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, before a mechanic found suspicious objects attached to the undercarriage of the vehicle.
Police later confirmed that the bombs were real, but were not turned on.
Former Kuala Lumpur police chief Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain - who has been promoted to a federal position - told the media yesterday that police were not able to find any fingerprints or suspects based on the CCTV footage.
Commenting on this, Siti said there was strong evidence suggesting that the bomb was planted on July 7.
"The CCTV from my condominium (showed) that when I left, there was nothing underneath my car.
"When I came back, the bottles were hanging underneath my car," she said, adding that she had a copy of the CCTV footage.
The activist noted that she had visited three places that day - the Kajang court complex, an R&R station, and an Orang Asli village.
It was impossible that the bomb was planted at the Orang Asli village, she said, nor did she think that it was planted while she was at the R&R.
Hence, Siti believed the act may have been carried out at the court car park.
"Maybe it was planted there when I was in court," she said.
Court CCTV out of service
However, she was disappointed to find that the CCTV cameras at the Kajang court complex car park were not working.
"I don't know whether it's true or not, but I was told that the CCTV (there) is not working."
She added that until the CCTV is fixed she would not be driving to the Kajang court.
Meanwhile, Siti also lamented how police had initially told her that they were on the verge of making an arrest, but now indicated otherwise.
She demanded further investigations on the matter.
