Activist Fahmi Reza, who ruffled feathers with his caricatures of newly appointed Sabah governor Musa Aman, has mocked PAS Youth for wanting to participate in tomorrow’s anti-graft rally in Kuala Lumpur.
He pointed out that Musa was acquitted and discharged of all 46 criminal charges linked to timber concessions contracts in the state in June 2020 under the Perikatan Nasional government.
The former chief minister walked free after the prosecution withdrew all the corruption and money-laundering charges against him.
“PAS Youth wants to come in droves for the protest organised by students.
“PAS Youth thinks the people have forgotten that when they were the government, they freed Musa,” he said in a social media post.

Fahmi is being investigated under Section 4(1) of the Sedition Act, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA), and Section 504 of the Penal Code over the caricatures.
The Native Court of Keningau is also demanding compensation from the graphic artist.
Yesterday, the anti-graft rally secretariat welcomed the support of PAS and Bersatu Youth wings for the gathering but cautioned them against politicising the event.
“We welcome PAS and Bersatu Youth wings’ support as the anti-corruption rally goes beyond party politics or ideology.
“However, be warned not to bring any paraphernalia representing your party on Jan 25. This rally belongs to the people, not to be ridden by any political parties,” it said. - Mkini
