The finance ministry announced that starting tomorrow, RON97 will retail at RM3.43 per litre from RM3.38, while diesel will retail at RM3.13 per litre in West Malaysia from RM3.08 currently.
This is the sixth consecutive week that the price of RON97 has gone up.
The price of diesel in East Malaysia remains at RM2.15 per litre, while RON95 will stay at RM2.05 per litre.
These prices will remain in effect until Jan 29.
“The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people,” it said in a statement. - FMT
