FOR VERY obvious safety reasons, every vehicle comes equipped with the necessary features to grab the attention of the other drivers out there. Signal lights to broadcast one’s turn or a honk to tell everyone on the road you are unhappy.
Just these two and a cautious approach towards driving should keep most harm at bay. But recently, a unique individual has come up with a very novel technique to grab everyone’s attention. No honking or signalling required.
In the video, he could be seen pulling down the window and pointing a gun at the neighbouring vehicles. Now that is a persuasive instrument to solve even the most difficult disputes on the road.

“Surely he has a disabled person card or mental disorder,” commented netizen @mimi_enaz on the video post. Another netizen wondered if members of the public are allowed to ram such a person from behind.

Then there was @Loki_thoughts stating that certain acts of the law prohibit toy guns to resemble the real deal. “This is why those Nerf pistols are all colourful,” he added.

However, the authorities do not find his gun pointing trick very amusing. According to media portal Sinar Daily, the man had already been apprehended.
“Following the incident, a 60-year-old man was arrested at 7pm yesterday and admitted he was the individual seen in the video, adding that the object was a toy pistol,” said Brickfields District Police chief ACP Hoo Chang Hook.
Hoo said the suspect claimed he became dissatisfied after another vehicle cut into his lane without signalling, leading to a confrontation between the drivers.
Police seized two toy pistols and the suspect’s SUV, and checks found that the unemployed man had five previous criminal records, with the case being investigated under Section 36(1) of the Firearms Act 1960. — Focus Malaysia
