BEHIND THE SAUDI VEIL: US$ 1BIL ENOUGH TO BUY NAJIB & ROSMAH 'SAFE PASSAGE' & 'ASYLUM' IN THE 'HOLY LAND'

BEHIND THE SAUDI VEIL: US$ 1BIL ENOUGH TO BUY NAJIB & ROSMAH 'SAFE PASSAGE' & 'ASYLUM' IN THE 'HOLY LAND'
The Kuala Lumpur police force clearly benefitted from this CID chief’s deductive powers in his time.
Although, he would doubtless be the first to admit that in this case it was hardly rocket science.
The real question now is the one the Prime Minister must ask himself, which is whether he continues to govern Malaysia under the circumstances we now see?
Not only has he managed to unite a once riven political establishment against him, but we see such situations where a senior law enforcer lodges police reports against the Attorney General and the Auditor General is forced to make his review into the public fund 1MDB into an Official Secret.
Governance and law and order are collapsing in Malaysia to be replaced by panic rule and arbitrary decisions, where soon even the mention of the word 1MDB is likely to court a jail sentence.  All for the sake of one man and his position.
Najib is surrounded by a diminishing band of pigmy politicians and bought up party officials. The police chief has also handcuffed himself to the PM’s destiny, However the rest of the civil service establishment is falling away in droves.
Najib ought to have stayed in Saudi Arabia – a billion dollars must have been sufficient to buy his asylum?
Former Kuala Lumpur police Criminal Investigation Department chief Mat Zain Ibrahim has lodged a police report against attorney-general Mohamed Apandi Ali over the RM2.6 billion donation scandal.
In the report lodged on Wednesday, Mat Zain claimed that the AG is suspected to have “abused his powers, hidden information, and or used false statements” when clearingPrime Minister Najib Abdul Razak of wrongdoing in the donation case.
In his report, Mat Zain dissected Apandi’s claims that the donation came from the son of a Saudi King, to prove his claim that the AG had allegedly given false information.
Citing the Forbes 2013 list of the world’s richest Arabs, Mat Zain said only four princes were in the list.
They are Prince Alwaleed Talal who then had a reported fortune of US$20 billion; Prince Sultan Mohammed with US$2.6 billion; Prince Abdullah Musaad with US$144.5 million; and Prince Mutaib Abdulaziz with US$110.1 million.
Mat Zain surmised that if Najib did return US$620 million to the donor in August 2013, the donor would have climbed up the Forbes list.
However, Prince Mutaib did not make it to Forbes’ 2014 list of wealthy Arabs, making Prince Alwaleed, Prince Sultan, and Prince Abdullah the only Saudi royals named in the annual shortlist, noted the former top cop. - Sarawak Report
