Muhyiddin hangs with the opposition

After inking a declaration calling for Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's removal, it would be unwise for BN lawmakers to be seen with former deputy premier Muhyiddin Yassin.
Perhaps this is the reason why he is now forced to hang out with Pakatan Harapan MPs when attending the opening of this year's Parliament session.
DAP organ Roketkini.com published photographs of the Pagoh MP walking with Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and Selangor Menteri Mohd Azmin Ali.
In another photograph, the former Umno number two is seen sharing a light moment with Lim, who is also DAP secretary-general.
Others in the photograph were DAP's Kluang MP Liew Chin Tong, Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Parit Buntar lawmaker Mujahid Rawa, DAP's Seputeh and Kulai Mps Teresa Kok and Teo Nie Ching as well as Amanah's Kuala Krai MP Hatta Ramli.
Last Friday, Muhyiddin was among 58 signatories, which included key opposition and NGO leaders, who signed what is dubbed as the Citizen's Declaration.
The first to ink the document was former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who had resigned from Umno in protest against Najib's leadership.
Muhyiddin, who was suspended as Umno deputy president on Feb 26, is now staring at the possibility of being sacked.
Numerous quarters within Umno have called for his and Mahathir's son, former Kedah menteri besar Mukhriz's heads to roll.
Mukhriz had also inked the declaration.
Muhyiddin was dropped as deputy premier last July due to his critical views regarding 1MDB and the prime minister. -Mkini
