Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman has vowed to fight off his opponents after his predecessor Ahmad Said attempted to move a no-confidence motion against him.
"To those who wish to topple me, listen carefully. I am not afraid and I will not bow down.
"Come whatever great challenges, I will not surrender. Even if I die, even if I am betrayed, I will never surrender," he told the state assembly today.
He added that between the plans of his opponents and that of God, the Almighty's will reigns supreme, and he would only submit to God.
Yesterday, Ahmad had submitted a surprise motion of no-confidence against Razif.
However, state assembly speaker Mohd Zubir Embong rejected the motion, saying there was no 14-day notice.
