Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad does not want to save Malaysia but instead wants to destroy it, said Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak.
Commenting on Mahathir’s open letter to Umno members on Friday, Salleh said the long-serving former PM and former Umno member is only bent on destroying the ruling party.
“(His actions are) proof he not only does not love Umno, but has intentions to destroy the party.
“Because Mahathir has quit the party, and is conspiring with Umno’s political enemies, it follows he has no right to interfere in our party’s matters,” wrote Salleh on his blog today.
“Collaborating with the enemies to topple a democratically elected government is clearly not to save Malaysia, but to destroy it,” he added.
