PETALING JAYA - Police will take action against a traffic policewoman who was allegedly seen chiding a complainant in a video which has gone viral on Facebook.
Subang Jaya police chief ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari confirmed the incident occurred at the district's traffic counter at about 6pm.
"We take this case seriously and we have opened an investigation paper for a transparent investigation on the incident," Mohammad Azlin said in a statement.
Mohammad Azlin said while the case is ongoing, the policewomen would be transferred immediately and would not be on duty on the front row.
He also assured that he would investigate all aspects of the incident.
