Will Khairy exercise discretion and take responsibility and resign over the missing RM100 Million?

Folks, here is more play on discretion and indiscretion.

Will Khairy exercise discretion and take responsibility and resign over the missing RM100 Million?

He can argue that it is only RM100 million. What is RM100 million. In Japan, where their sense of ethics and sense of shame are at a different plane altogether, they used to commitseppuku or ritual suicide. In modern Japan they prefer to resign.

But we are not Japan. Our moral plane is at an entirely different level.  Ours is more plain.

Well, Khairy can refer to the cow case which involved RM240 million. More than twice Khairy's paltry RM100 million. The AG decided to use his discretion to stop the trial altogether (which was already being heard in court).

Khairy can refer the AG declaring that there was nothing to prosecute Khairy's boss over that RM42 million or those other billions.

Khairy can refer the Bank Negara investigations as well which was just dumped upon by the AG.

Khairy can refer the fact that there is no Police investigation on his boss' financial entanglements, especially since that Task Force has been disbanded.

To further justify NOT resigning, Khairy can wait for the long overdue Auditor Gen's report.  People are already saying that there will not be any surprises.  No need to hold your breath.  Talk is (people talk, talk, talk) for appearances one name maybe terpalit - ie one of the CEOs.

But so what? Even if the Auditor Gen. points fingers at one of the CEOs, so what? Big deal. It is still up to the AG's absolute discretion  to charge or not to charge anyone in Court.  It is entirely up to the AG.

It is unclear if the auditor gen. is doing a full forensic audit. Chances are that he is not. He is doing a simple audit which says 5 chickens - 3 chickens = 2 chickens left.

That is all. It is not his responsibility as the auditor to find out where those 3 chickens went. This is a simple audit.

In a forensic audit the auditor will try to determine where those 3 chickens went. Were they taken out lawfully, were they stolen, were they eaten  by a musang, were they sembelih secara halal or sembelih secara bukan halal etc.   That is the purpose of the forensic audit.

A simple audit does not care about all that. For a simple audit 5 chickens - 3 chickens = 2 chickens left is enough.

So it will be easier for JASA to tell the kampong people "Repeat after me : '5 chickens - 3 chickens = 2 chickens left' ".

Then the kampong people will say, "Why make such a fuss. 5 chickens - 3 chickens = 2 chickens lah. Itu pun tak faham ke?"

Maybe this will solve the mystery why the Auditor Gen is taking such a long time to prepare the books.  They must be cooking a lot of soup to help them stay awake at night to finish the books.

Back to Khairy not resigning, well the PAC is not going to call the PM or Jho Low either. So lets all be cool ok.  What is RM100 million versus RM billions. Its chicken feed. No need to even appear at any hearing.

Kadir Sheikh Fadzir has teamed up with PAS to become a 3rd force, but Kadir supports Najib.  PAS supports Najib too.  A 3rd force that supports the government. Can you still call it a 3rd force?

Kadir left UMNO.  His calculation could be at only 48% of votes, Najib and BN have lost the majority support (popular vote).  The Opposition secured 52% of votes.

But now together with PAS as a 3rd force, perhaps Kadir feels that 48% of votes is a huge "majority" for Najib.   And so he should support Najib.

Kadir did not like money politics but now he supports Najib.

Can Kadir show a good example and declare his assets?
And also his company's assets?
And all the lands (if any) owned by his companies?
Just to reassure all hardworking honest people just how much one can amass in a lifetime by working hard at a regular 9 - 5 job everyday.

We should all join Kadir's 3rd force if he is really fighting money politics and corruption.  We should all support him.

But I digress.  Khairy, you dont have to resign. Just quote all the above examples.

That 52% majority of voters will not buy it of course.

Of the minority 48% I doubt many will buy it either.

But the party will buy it.  So go for it guy.
