You need not be an ROS-registered body to tell the truth

YOURSAY | ‘Neither do you need to be in the opposition or ruling party. Truth is truth.’
Anonymous 2402521456737582: The more you read, the more you realise how indefensible PM Najib Razak is.
I think former Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) student council leader Abang Mohd Hafizie Abang Buns is as convincing as the lame Umno cybertroopers who just end up harming the sources of their ‘dedak’ (chickenfeed).
Hopeful123: It does not matter who is talking as long the truth is told. You need not be a registered body to tell the truth. Neither do you need to be in the opposition or ruling party. Truth is truth.
Maplesyrup: Since when do youths define their representation in terms of registration with the Registrar of Societies (ROS)?
Gosh, this new group sound so BN, if there is such a thing.
Sans Prejudice: Not being registered with ROS cannot be used to dismiss Challenger (Change led by the Young Generation) as not representative of the 'majority' of the youth.
Of paramount importance is the composition of the leadership who can articulate and present their argument with originality, rationality and logic.
This new copycat grouping is but an old gramophone laboriously grinding a record with a broken track over and over again. It is by extension, merely another organ of the mainstream media. More of the same, really.
P Dev Anand Pillai: Wow, there seems to be an admission here - "that there is no peaceful Islamic nation with a great economy and a trusted leader which the world can trust!"
Aren't we already in this group of nations?
Mafeeah: Two things that come to mind:
1. What facts do you have to say that Najib is indeed innocent?
2. You call this country peaceful and the economy stable?
Go read and understand economy and politics, boy.
Wsoi: All Malaysians must record down what is happening so that we know who the liars truly are later when the truth is revealed. It could also be that they are the truth holders.
As a matter of principle, those politicians who receive money, whether in ‘donations’ or otherwise while they hold executive positions, should be discarded.
We just can’t support anybody who works for money. They will sell our rights.
Ckl0001: Now is the time for the youth groups to go for a live telecast debate. Just don't say it is not our political culture.
Doc: Our armed forces had difficulty repelling the terrorists and kidnappers from our eastern borders but have now been dispatched to the Middle East to learn desert warfare and bolster Saudi Arabia's coalition forces in a war that Malaysia has clearly no military objective.
I can only guess the reason for these armed forces being dispatched to the Middle East is for PM Najib Abdul Razak to gain political favours and more personal ‘donations’ from the Saudi rulers.
Sabahan: Desert warfare experience is only good for fighting in the desert. Which desert does the PM think the Malaysian soldiers will fight in?
Since our PM thinks that desert warfare know-how is advantageous, why not go all the way and get arctic warfare know-how?
Anonymous #64627787: Malaysia does not have deserts. It does not envisage itself as an intervening force in international theatres of war.
So why is desert warfare useful to the Malaysian armed forces? In the same sense, we don't practice and train for alpine warfare in Malaysia.
CharKuayTeow: We could be intending to invade Australia perhaps - there's a huge desert there to get lost in.
Kit P: Every inch of Malaysian soil lies near the Equator with heavy annual rainfall. Every time you step outdoors, you are reminded of our high humidity.
What kind of desert warfare is the prime minister dreaming of?
Hplooi: No kidding, the Saudis do not have to spend a single dinar to 'buy' Malaysia's compliance. They only need to keep silent (or ambiguous) on the so-called ‘donations’. That's the beauty of this alleged scam.
How will desert warfare be useful for Malaysia, when we do not have blue ocean projection. And our security projection only extends to tropical Asean?
Gaji Buta: Good forward-looking vision. At the rate we are chopping down our trees and with uncontrolled mining, we will be a desert soon.
JD Lovrenciear: Next, get outer space warfare experience? -Mkini
