MY QUESTION IS WHO GOT THE CONTRACT TO SUPPLY THE BOOK? HOW MANY MILLIONS OF TAXPAYERS MONEY ? WAS IT OPEN TENDER? WALLAHU A'LAM

 That is my main question - who got the contract to supply the gomen schools with this book? Was it by open tender or direct negotiation? Can the Minister please be transparent? What is the cost to the taxpayer? How many books are being bought and exactly how many millions of taxpayers money are being spent?

There are some other things that are strange. In the beginning the announcement was that  the book was intended for Muslim students within public schools only (sekolah kebangsaan). 

• the Ministry said the newly introduced .. module in school was intended for Muslim students within public schools only.
• Dep Minister Lim confirmed this distinction during a recent post-cabinet meeting
• criticisms from non-Muslim groups who described it as unconstitutional.
• MCCBCHST said the module espouses the complete Islamic system of life.

 

Now the narrative has changed. Now they say the book is meant for 289 sekolah agama only. Click the Borneo Post here  "289 religious schools involved".

So it is no more all public schools or sekolah kebangsaan? Which one is which?
