Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was filmed helping a motorcyclist who was injured in an accident in Kuala Lumpur.
According to the Umno president, the incident happened as he was returning from the ground breaking ceremony for the MIC building.
“As I was on my way back… I saw an accident which had just happened involving a car and motorcycle near Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim.
“We rushed to help Mr Satnam (the motorcyclist) and I ensured that treatment for him was expedited. I pray that he makes a complete recovery,” he added.
Earlier, a video circulating on social media showed Zahid helping the motorcyclist.
In the video, the deputy prime minister and others can be seen comforting the victim, with one person stating that he suffered a broken leg. - Mkini
