WITH all that heavy eating during Raya, a diner might eventually feel the urge to release the “serpent” within him in the toilet.
But for one unfortunate person, it would seem that such a simple act would become a memorable one, or more appropriately, trauma in the making.
In a viral video on X, a netizen could be seen trying to poop when he received a visit from an uninvited yet venomous guest.
The cobra slithered in through the narrow gap beneath the toilet door, then began exploring the place.
Strangely, however, the netizen did not react in panic, but instead began recording the scene as though content generation was more important than self preservation.
The brief video did not show if the netizen received a bite from the cobra, but its appearance and the sound of birds in the background suggests a village setting nearby the forest.
Apparently living in the city with all its pollution has benefits too. We can all agree that everyone is not looking forward to seeing a highly venomous serpent peeking out of the toilet bowl or something similar to this video.
Despite the danger in the situation, the online community has a way of turning it into comedy gold.
@Chillex35653570 said his poop was about to come out, but retracted when he saw the cobra.
Netizen @matnijaa further finds it amusing that he could find the time to video record in a life-threatening situation.
Perhaps @Fadlyzoner won the comment section saying that someone should throw him a flute so he could make the cobra dance a little before leaving.
There are always experts in the comment section, so let’s hear it from @shoukofuuyumi who said people should not panic when they observe the cobra rearing its head up.
“Don’t panic and don’t move too much,” he said, adding that snakes has heat vision which allows them to track moving heat signature as prey.
@shoukofuuyumi continued, claiming that the snake fears turmeric. Either that or people could pour milk at the place.
Interestingly, @shoukofuuyumi‘s advice attracted more comical responses from fellow netizens. One netizen wondered if he could simply throw fecal matter at the snake since he did not bring turmeric into the toilet. — Focus Malaysia
