PSM has accused the Madani coalition of blatantly violating election rules in Ayer Kuning.
This came after BN flags and banners featuring BN logo were spotted in Tapah and Ayer Kuning recently.
PSM also flagged BN for uploading a poster promoting its candidate on social media.
Under the Election Offences Act, campaign material can only go up during the campaign period, which will only begin on Saturday, April 12.
Of the evidence submitted by PSM, one was a video featuring banners promoting BN's candidate unveiling.
Another video showed BN flags outside the Arena TN50 Tapah.
"The Madani government is so bold! They are the government now so they can violate election laws blatantly.
"The Ayer Kuning by-election hasn't started but the Madani government is being bold. Great!" PSM said on Facebook today.
PSM deputy secretary general Bawani KS is contesting in the by-election against candidates from BN and Perikatan Nasional.
Previously, Bawani and PSM lost their deposit when contesting in Ayer Kuning during the 2022 general election. - Mkini
