Hajiji praises his new Sabah cabinet, touts stability

Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor has expressed confidence that his newly formed state government can deliver a stronger and more stable five-year term.

This comes as his new administration incorporates leaders from his coalition Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), BN, Pakatan Harapan, and a slew of independents for the first time.

Hajiji said the broader composition placed Sabah in a better position to finalise and implement the second phase of the Sabah Maju Jaya development plan, due in 2026.

“We have a strong capacity to deliver. The progress of the past five years shows what stability can achieve, and this new administration is ready to bring Sabah forward.

“I am a chief minister for all Sabahans, serving fairly regardless of background, race or religion,” he said after chairing the first meeting of the new cabinet in Kota Kinabalu today.
