KUALA LUMPUR: Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) has announced disruptions on its electric train service (ETS) and KTM Komuter after an overhead line fault at KM 434.42 between Batang Benar and Labu stations.
The fault affected the Batu Caves - Pulau Sebang -Batu Caves route, prompting service adjustments to ease passenger travel.
ETS train EP9532 from JB Sentral to KL Sentral will now end at Seremban, with shuttle buses provided to KL Sentral and intermediate stations.
Trains EP9537 and EP9579 from KL Sentral to JB Sentral will transport passengers by bus to Gadut, where they can resume their ETS journey.
KTM Komuter services are also affected. Train 2047 from Batu Caves to Pulau Sebang will carry passengers by bus from Batang Benar to Seremban.
Train 2049 will end at Batang Benar, train 2051 at Labu, and train 2055 at Bangi, with bus transfers provided to continue their trips. Services from Pulau Sebang to KL Sentral will now terminate at Seremban, while trains from KL Sentral towards Pulau Sebang will end at Bangi until further notice.
Passengers not continuing their journey may claim a full refund at ticket counters.
KTMB's technical teams are working to restore normal services as quickly as possible.
Commuters are advised to plan their travel and check KTMB's official channels for updates.
