SAIFUL & FARAH AZLINA ALLEGEDLY HAD SEX - OFFENCE UNDER SYARIAH LAW SINCE UNMARRIED

The Malaysian Religious authorities are at the crossroad on whether to ARREST and CHARGE Saiful Bukhari Azlan and DPP Farah Azlina Latif on an alleged sexual affair, which was first exposed by 'fugitive' blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin in Malaysia Today recently.

With the revelation, DPP Farah Azlina had be removed from the prosecution team in the on-going sodomy trial of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Defense lawyers are demanding that since the two had an alleged intimate relationship, confidential informations have been revealed making the case to be treated as a mistrial.

According to Syariah Law, both Saiful and Farah Azlina are unmarried couples, and its an offence to have an illicit sexual affair and action need to be taken for zina and khalwat immediately.

Surprise to many, the Malaysian Religious authorities are trying to evade any action or awaiting further instructions from their political masters to arrest and charge these 'criminals'. Look at the double-standard practiced.

Recently, the Religious authorities had carried out raids to curb the khalwat and zina activities and although after much criticisms had even infringed many married couples who had failed to carry their Kad Nikah or Marriage Certificates to show prove that they are married couples. A few had even committed suicide to escape arrest.

When the alleged facts are right in front of them, they fail to perform their duties.
