KLUANG, June 3 — The Home Affairs Ministry will upload a compilation of videos on the Bersih 3.0 illegal rally to its website by Wednesday for public viewing.
Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said the purpose of showing the compilation of recordings obtained from various parties is to enable people to see the events that occurred during the rally.
“With the video recording, the people can make their own judgement based on facts and not other consideration,” he said after a meet-the-people session and launch of the book “Dian Desa 2012” at SRK Ladang Mutiara, Kahang today.
Hishammuddin said the ministry is ready to face legal action from those dissatisfied with the source of the video recordings.
“This is part of our responsibility to give justice to the participants, police personnel and media people who were assaulted during the rally.”
He added there is no reason for the ministry to hide the truth contained in the recordings. — Bernama
