Pro-Najib NGO files police report against Dr M

A police report has been lodged against former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and the Save Malaysia group, for trying to oust Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak through undemocratic means.
The report was lodged by NGO Pertubuhan Minda Sosial dan Prihatin (PMSP) at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters today.
This was over the Save Malaysia declaration last Friday, which aims to remove Najib from power and implement institutional reforms.
PMSP president Ramesh Rao claimed that the group will also be submitting evidence that the Save Malaysia group has hired 250 buses to ferry 100,000 paid protesters on March 27.
March 27 is when former law minister Zaid Ibrahim plans to hold closed-door gathering between Umno rebels and the opposition to discuss how to overthrow Najib.
Ramesh said if Mahathir joins a protest, police should lock up and beat up the former premier.
"Let him (Mahathir) get beat up like I was (during the 1998 reformasi rally). Beat him up until his teeth fall out," Ramesh told the media outside the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters.
Meanwhile, PMSP had also lodged police reports today against former Malaysian Bar president Lim Chee Wee for allegedly leaking information on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's investigation on the RM2.6 billion donation and RM42 million SRC International cases.
They said the leak, published as a source story on the Malaysian Insider, was in violation of the Official Secrets Act (OSA).
PMSP also lodged a report against former attorney-general Abdul Gani Patail and former deputy prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin over the latter's claims that the former had shown him evidence of criminal offences in the 1MDB scandal. -Mkini
