PETALING JAYA: A man has been arrested following a viral video of him entering and peeping into a women’s toilet at a petrol station in Seberang Jaya, Penang, earlier this month.
Seberang Perai Tengah police chief Helmi Aris confirmed that a report was lodged over the incident, which took place at about 6.20am on May 5.
“The suspect has been arrested and a remand application will be made at the Bukit Mertajam magistrates’ court tomorrow,” he said in a statement.
He added that investigations are being held for insulting a person’s modesty and for insulting behaviour.
