Police say the victim, who did not have any ID, suffered a broken rib and a wound on his head, but did not have any fractures on his skull.

Dang Wangi police chief Sulizmie Affendy Sulaiman said HKL’s emergency ward received the victim, who did not have identification papers, at about 5.20pm for treatment to wounds on his head.
He said the hospital confirmed that the man had suffered a broken rib and a wound on his head, but did not have any fractures on his skull.
“The victim is in stable condition and is still receiving treatment at HKL,” he said in a statement.
The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt with a dangerous weapon, and no one has been arrested yet.
A viral video showed an injured man in the hospital’s multi-storey car park, claiming that he was the victim of a robbery.
The dazed man can be seen leaning against a car with a visible gash on his head, while members of the public ask who hit him. He then slumps onto the ground, after which medical staff arrive to take him for emergency treatment. - FMT
